This is often seen and referred to as generally, as clumsiness or poor balance.

It's typical to have difficulty with co-ordination: not good at catching balls or learning to ride a bike or find the act of writing laborious and difficult.

Adults who have participated in activities such as marshal arts, yoga, or meditation will frequently overcome much of the difficulty, although not correct the characteristic at root cause level.

Dyspraxia rarely stands alone. It usually accompanies other characteristics in the dyslexia family, and is often seen to correct itself during a programme for the other characteristics. Where there is a particularly strong issue, additional work may be undertaken in the programme to address this.
